The 24th october 2010, we decided to go to the baker place to see music bands. We heard about it from someone, and went on the Internet to chec
k when and where the concert was taking place. After a look at the bands who were playing, we looked for the baker place on google maps, and realize that it was just next to the Costello's bar. So finally we went to the Castello's bar and t
hen to the baker place to enjoy the concert.

All the bands were playing a metal type, and it was really original. The atmosphere of the
concert was unique, many people wore the t-shirt of the evening "Siege of Limerick", and also black clothes. A lot of people were helping the staff, when we arrived, the members of the major band "meal mordha" were preparing them self. The band is called as a "Gaelic doom metal band", and I was really surprised by the style of the members, so I decided to visit their website to have informations about them.

The story is that in 998 AD, Mael Mordha started a rebellion against the high king of Ireland, Brian boru, king of the province leinster. The hostility culminated in a colossal battle at Cluain Tarbh (near modern Dublin). In the battle, many of the great warriors and leaders of ancient Ireland met their fate as the green Irish countryside ran red with their blood. 1000 years later, taking inspiration from their forefathers, five warriors began another rebellion, rising up within the Irish metal scene to craft a truly unique blend of never before heard doom metal and traditional Irish laments, now known as ‘Gaelic Doom Metal’. hostility culminated in a colossal battle at Cluain Tarbh (near modern Dublin).
